Option to disable natural language detection

When you are in the Inbox and enter "Add New Task" do any one know if it is possible to turn off the auto scheduling feature based on words like “today”, “friday”, “next year”, etc "?
Some times this feature is really cool and powerful. Other times you just want to be able to write anything without auto detection.
I for example like to be able to add this text "Ask Peter about meeting on Friday" without auto scheduling the task for "Friday".
What would work really well is a "quick add" markup tag that we can put in front of the entire text when you want to turn-off auto detection (of temporal expressions that refer to words or phrases that denote time).
When we use the Zapier integration there is no auto detection for the subject field.
Also, when you open the task after it is created you can edit the subject field and include "time" related text with no auto scheduling.

Ability to turn off NLP

I have two uses cases which make the NLP experience awful.
- I often put dates/times in my reminder that are different from when I want to do them. eg "Prepare for X which is next week" (but i want to prepare today), "Pack clothes for flight at 4pm" (I obviously want to pack before my flight, and not at 4pm).
- My mobile workflow for new tasks is to tap and hold on to the time block that I want a task to be saved to first. if I put in something that's like a date, the NLP overwrites my already set date/time. Then when I hit backspace to revert, it clears it completely. I therefore have to manually set the date and time after I already set it.
The NLP is making my experience worse and I'd like to turn it off altogether if possible.

is there any update on this? I've been having the same issue frequently

Aidan: We currently do not have any updates on this. :(

Alex Peats-Bond Thank you for sharing this. Just for clarity the issues raised in both 1 and 2, are they from the mobile or desktop and mobile?

Jeson P it's just on mobile – the behaviour differs on desktop. Let me know if i can clarify anything! I love using Akiflow, but this is beyond irritating.

Alex Peats-Bond: Sure! Any additional information will help us to understand requests like this better!

Hi everyone! You can easily remove the natural language recognition by using backspace or ESC after typing the recognized date. Does this solve your issue?

Stefania: Hi! Thanks Stefania. Is this also possible if we copy the text “ Ask Peter about meeting on Friday ” from for example a mail and then paste it into the “Add New Task” field ?
Stefania
Peter: Hi Peter, sorry I didn't see this comment!
If you paste the text and then hit ESC you'll remove the recognition, yes:)

I tried "Ask on Friday Peter about meeting" and "on Friday" is highlighted by the natural language recognition feature.
As a user, you will then have to click in the text after "on Friday" and then click ESC.
That is too cumbersome.
For the user, it must be lightning-fast to add to-dos.
A majority of my to-dos entered in the Inbox are copied text from other applications.
If there are any words in such a copied text that are recognized by the natural language recognition feature then it is an effort to remove the "recognition".
Hoping for a simple solution from Akiflow UX team.
It can be a keyboard shortcut.
It can be a feature to disable the natural language recognition feature in the inbox field.
It can be a special tag that I put in front of the entire text.
