Stefania, So happy to see this marked as In Progress! I came back to look at what had been said about it. Two things came to me: first, that Mike really did lay this out beautifully below; and second, that counting the time we had
planned
for our task time would be a help, but integrating a focus timer of some kind to track the actual time spent on the task would help even more. (You could just count the estimated time unless a timer is used.) Something to consider implementing together if you're not already thinking along those lines!Stefania
Dodge Rea: Thank you so much for your message! We'll start with a more basic version of your stats, but we can't wait for you to try them out and let me know what else is missing for you so stay tuned:)

Stefania Sounds great. Can’t wait!

Stefania Any status report on the idea of a Focus Timer? Can’t remember if that’s under consideration or further along.

So glad this is planned! And would love to echo Mike's request pasted in below. Such good suggestions! :) Increasingly in my mind, Akiflow is positioning itself as a truly premier Daily Planner app, and a sophisticated Analytics system like this fits that premium brand. (A bit more robust planning process would, too -- Rituals are the future.) Thank you!

Weekly/Monthly Task Completion Analytics

Akiflow is an amazing tool for getting stuff done. The way Akiflow is setup we capture a lot of data about how we work. It would be amazing to be able to get a report of this at the end of the week/month to see how we spent our time and how we could improve.
A few examples.
We capture, priority, time estimates, labels, tags, snoozes, reschedules, meetings, integrations etc.
With all of this information I could see things like
- How many tasks/hours am I allocating towards a project/label
- How many hours a week/month am I in meetings
- How often do I not complete a task and reschedule it, what projects/tags are those associated with
- What days/times am I most/least productive
- I personally have tags for things related to growing my life and maintaining my life. I also have tags for AED (Automate, Eliminate and Delegate) I would LOVE to know how I'm allocating my times to these tasks.
I'm sure you could do even more with this.
I know this would be a big feature but I think it would differentiate Akiflow from the sea of other "me too" daily planner apps out there.
At the end of the day we use tools like this to make better use of our limited amount of time. I can't think of a better way to improve this skill than actually getting feedback about how we use our time.

There is any way to see a goals report? (weekly, monthly)
Stefania
Alejandro Ventura R.: Hi! Not at the moment, only the day one. I'll keep you posted here!

A Toggl integration would be incredible

I would also like to see a report on time spent based on tags from tasks but additionally on calendar items based on which calendar the event is pulled from.
Stefania
Andrew G: Hi Andrew, so something similar to what you can see in the daily planning/shutdown?
A
Andrew G
Stefania: Yes, but several of my tasks are calendar items which don't get tracked well in the daily shutdown, they are listed separately and individually. For example, I would like to see aggregated time spent on a task or meeting from Project1 calendar with the tasks from #Project 1 and tasks/meetings from another calendar Project2 to show with the time report for #Project2 tasks. Hope that made sense.
Stefania
Andrew G: I think this is what you are looking for: https://product.akiflow.com/features-and-improvements-request/p/assign-a-label-to-an-event, is that right?
A
Andrew G
Stefania: Yes thank you, assigning a label to a calendar event would solve this, but that doesn't appear to be possible.
Stefania
Andrew G: Yes, this is not a feature yet, I just wanted to be sure I understood well your needs. Thanks for your help!

Stefania: Just to add to this, it would be great to have this visibility of "how much time spent on what" at weekly or monthly level. Some sort of dashboard for analytics.
