iPhone Mobile Notifications Not Working

Ever since I got the Akiflow app (at first 0.31.1 and then 0.31.2 once that came out) for my iPhone (latest iOS software), I have never received a notification from the Akiflow mobile app. I made sure that notifications are on for Akiflow in the iOS settings, and I have akiflow mobile setup to give notifications 5 minutes before the task starts.
Any advice to fix this on my end, or is it a bug?

Hi Brett, can you please go on TestFlight and update to the latest version and let me know if notifications are working for you after the update? Thank you!

Stefania: that is the version that I have, notifications continue to not work. I wonder if there’s some other app on my phone or some (seemingly) unrelated system setting messing with it?

- Can you please check in your phone settings if the Akiflow notifications are turned on?
- Can you do the same in Akiflow? Settings > Notifications
- Do you remember if Akiflow asked you to allow notifications?
- Would you mind sharing your time zone?

Stefania: screenshots below show my phone notification settings for Akiflow and the notification settings within Akiflow.
Upon downloading the app, I WAS asked to allow notifications, and I said yes.
Time zone = Central Standard Time

PS - It’s a beta app, so I have no illusions or expectations that it should be working perfectly yet 😉 but I AM looking forward to it being built out and more feature parity with the web/desktop app!
