Release 2.75
A reliability-focused release with 80+ quality fixes across desktop, mobile, web, and backend, plus handy planning upgrades like one-click "Someday" and a smoother mobile experience.
"Someday" in the Plan menu - Plan a task to Someday in a single click, right alongside Today, Tomorrow, This week, and more, with no typing needed.
Fixed high CPU and memory usage that could slow the app during normal use.
Resolved the app repeatedly signaling an update when none was available.
The update button now appears reliably, and updates delivered through the service worker are detected correctly, including when switching release channels.
Multiple crash fixes across startup, the calendar, the tray window, chat, and event saving for a more stable session.
Auto-dismiss Live Activity - The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island Live Activity now disappears automatically once every task in a time slot is complete, instead of lingering until the slot ends.
Faster drag-and-drop reordering - Tasks now reorder instantly when you drag them, with no more 1 to 2 second delay before the new order appears.
Restoring a task on desktop no longer leaves a stale "Restore" button and deleted timestamp showing on mobile.
The project section is no longer cut off in the task modal when the project lives inside a folder.
Fixed cramped spacing in the task modal footer when properties wrap onto a second line.
The "Someday" filter in the all-task list now correctly shows your Someday tasks instead of scheduled ones.
On Android, dragged tasks now land at the intended position right away and no longer snap into nearby time slots.
Removed the stray character counter on the time slot title field.
Task titles that start with numbers are no longer turned into clickable phone number links.
Tasks created on mobile are no longer locked to a connected calendar when the lock option is turned off.
The Meeting Assistant button now appears for events that already have a transcript, and no longer shows on events that have not happened yet.
Switching accounts now loads the correct Aki chat list instead of showing the previous account's chats.
Aki chat list now loads noticeably faster.
Fixed an unexpected scroll-to-bottom button appearing when opening the keyboard in a chat with a document notification.
Fixed the half-opaque top bar on Android so it now displays correctly.
Refreshed, more consistent headers - Headers, section titles, and icons have been standardized across the app for a cleaner, more consistent look.
30+ crash and stability fixes, including better recovery after the app resumes, more resilient database and sync error handling, fewer search crashes, and more reliable task save, reorder, and undo.
Authenticated pages such as Account are no longer accessible through the browser back button after logging out.
Fixed an issue where editing tasks could fail with server errors, so task changes now save reliably.
Meeting Assistant can now be turned off again after your free transcripts are used up.
Daily briefs are more reliable: the mid-day brief opens with its check-in sentence under the correct heading, and the wrap-up brief now sends on schedule.
Morning workflows now run once at their scheduled time instead of firing multiple times.
More reliable subscription cancellation and billing retries.
Google Calendar sync is now faster and more reliable for accounts with a large number of events.
