2.76
This is our biggest release of the year. Akiflow now connects directly to your AI assistant, lets you break work into subtasks, gives you a new view on Mobile with Daily Dashboard, and can auto-optimize schedule for you. On top of four major features, this build adds Someday page improvements and more than 100 fixes across desktop, and mobile.
Note on availability: We are rolling these features out progressively to keep things stable. If you have updated to 2.76 and do not see a new feature yet, it is on its way. It can take up to a week for everyone to get full access.

Akiflow now ships a hosted MCP server at mcp.akiflow.com, so the AI you already use can manage your Akiflow directly.
Control Akiflow in natural language - Connect Claude or any MCP-compatible AI client to Akiflow and manage your tasks, calendar, and schedule by just asking.
Full task control - Create, edit, plan, and reschedule tasks, straight from your AI.
Calendar and time blocking - Create and edit events and time slots, manage multiple calendars, and invite guests, all through your assistant.
Read your day - Ask for your schedule across any date range and get tasks, events, and time slots back in your own time zone.
Meeting transcripts - Pull your meeting transcripts into your AI workflow.
Secure by design - Connections use OAuth, so you stay in control of what your AI can access.

You can now break big tasks into smaller subtasks, on both Desktop and Mobile.
Native parent and child tasks - Split any task into subtasks instead of burying steps inside a description.
Schedule each subtask independently - Drag individual subtasks onto your calendar and work through a large task across your week.
Progress at a glance - Parent tasks show a live progress counter (for example 2/5) so you always know how much is left.
Smart completion and deletion - When you finish or delete a parent with open subtasks, Akiflow asks what you want to do with the subtask so nothing gets lost.

A new home for your day on mobile, powered by AI. Akiflow now gives you a reason to check in throughout the day.
Three daily briefs - A Morning Brief, a Midday Brief, and an end-of-day Wrap-up summarize what is ahead and what you got done.
Live Activity - A glanceable section keeps your current and upcoming items front and center.
Aki Feed - A single feed brings your briefs and updates together, sorted most-recent-first with automatic archiving so it stays clean.
Control your briefs - Turn each daily brief on or off and adjust its timing from the Workflows settings on desktop.

Stop dragging tasks around one by one. Akiflow can now replan your day for you, on Desktop and Web.
Instant scheduling - Drop an unscheduled task into the next available slot in your day with a single click.
Optimize Schedule - When a task runs long (or short), Akiflow offers to replan the rest of your day automatically, keeping your tasks in order and fitting them into the time you have left.
Works as you rearrange - Dragging a task over others pushes the following tasks down and reflows your schedule, so a change in plans takes one move instead of many.
New planning views - Plan your tasks across dedicated This Week, This Month, and Someday views, now alongside Inbox and Today, so you can organize work by time horizon instead of scrolling one long list.
Reorganized planning sidebar - The sidebar in the planning views now keeps Inbox, Someday, This Week, and This Month always within reach
Copy transcript summary only - In the menu you can now copy just the summary, separately from the full transcript.
Rename your meeting transcript bot - Set a custom name for your Meeting Assistant bot.
Rich-text formatting shortcuts - Added keyboard shortcuts for common formatting (strikethrough and lists) in task and event descriptions.
Toggle weekends with Shift+W - A new keyboard shortcut shows or hides weekends in the calendar.
Closing a recurring all-day event popup no longer incorrectly prompts you to save.
The "This Week" planner now shows the footer panel.
Fixed weekly calendar navigation jumping to the wrong date range after several week transitions.
Hidden weekends no longer reappear on their own when navigating between months.
The Save button now appears correctly after editing a conference location or event description.
Picking "Someday" when adding a task now stays selected as you keep typing.
Fixed the task title disappearing when a long project name was assigned.
Added spacing between tags and project labels in the task popup for easier reading.
Keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+K, Cmd+F and others) now work when a non-Latin input method such as Korean, Japanese, or Chinese is active.
The in-app support widget no longer resurfaces old conversations as new messages after an app update.
Made the running app version easier to find in Settings.
Fixed a range of rare crashes across the planner, calendar, date pickers, sharing availability, and drag-and-drop, for a more stable experience.
Reduced background error noise so the app stays responsive.
Redesigned Upcoming widget - The Upcoming home screen widget has a cleaner, easier-to-read layout.
Show completed tasks in the widget - A new option lets you include completed tasks in the Upcoming widget.
New Weekdays view - Added a Weekdays view with a refreshed calendar view-options menu.
Copy transcript summary only - Copy just the meeting summary from the three-dot menu.
Rename your meeting transcript bot - Give your meeting assistant bot a custom name.
Fixed date-only items shifting by a day in some time zones.
Dragging a recurring task no longer creates incorrect exceptions or duplicate tasks.
Removing recurrence from a recurring task or event now behaves correctly.
Discarding changes to a time slot now works as expected.
Links in Aki Chat are tappable again.
Tapping a task link that is not a valid URL no longer crashes the app.
Task labels are no longer lost after syncing.
The app icon badge count is now accurate.
Fixed several startup and resume crashes and reduced out-of-memory app terminations.
Fixed various other rare crashes for better overall stability.
Personalized in-app messages can now open with a relevant first message when you start a chat from a specific call to action.
Fixed a Safari service worker redirect issue affecting some sessions.
The billing page now clearly shows a notice when a payment has failed.
