Assign projects to events & meetings (with automatic project color)

It would be great to be able to categorize not just slots, but also calendar events and meetings under projects.

Currently, slots can already be assigned to a project, which is super useful. However, this functionality is missing for events and meetings. Being able to assign a project to any calendar event would mean it automatically inherits the project color, making it much easier to visually scan your calendar and immediately see how your time is distributed across projects.

Use case: When I have client meetings, internal syncs, or deep work blocks, I want them all color-coded by project so my calendar gives me an instant overview of where my time is going β€” without having to manually set colors for each individual event.

Suggested behavior:

  • Add a "Project" field to events and meetings (similar to how it works for slots)

  • Automatically apply the project color to the event once a project is assigned

  • Sync the color if the project color is updated
