Event: Focus Mode

Expand an event on a calendar (like a schedule meeting) into focus mode for easier note taking in the event's description box.

In my workflow, every time I receive a Teams Call, I create an event "Call with John Doe" for the duration of the call, and then type important details in the event's description.

Having the event in Focus Mode would make note taking easier.

In an ideal world an another feature that has already been requested is "Notes".

I would absolutely love to just Create a Note, and attach it to an event or a task. This way, even if the calendar event is not mine, I would still be able write notes and attach them to that meeting/event.

    Hi Steven, Focus Mode now works on events! Select an event and press F, or open it and click the Focus mode button. The event opens in the full Akiflow window with its description ready to write in, which fits your “Call with John Doe” workflow. Your notes are saved to the event’s description when you leave Focus (press Esc).

    On events you can’t edit, the description is read-only. Notes you can attach to any event, including ones that aren’t yours, aren’t part of this.

    It’s part of version 2.83 on desktop and web, available to everyone from October 14. More in the Focus Mode help article.
