Hi Stefania, Francesco, for me it was fixed shortly after I made my comment below with an update beginning of Dec. 2022. Since then I have not seen the problem anymore. (Sorry for the delayed reply.) Thanks and best regards.

Hi everyone, is someone still experiencing this issue?

Now I managed to capture it working. The DevTools messages are also there. But no error message. This is the bottom of the dev console logs:

This happens for me more or less constantly now since the last update (2.29.16) on Windows 10 two+ weeks ago. I have reinstalled 2 times. One time it was working afterwards, today is does not. I have now run it in debug mode. Should I post the (longish) dev console output here? Basically I see lots of warnings like this: "unexpected end of JSON input" from DevTools.
Welcome to Akiflow Main
main.js:2 [electron_renderer] started
main.js:2 [electron_renderer] [NativeIntegrations.getDateTimeLocale] Executing C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Programs\Akiflow\resources\exe\GetDateTimeLocale.exe
DevTools failed to load source map: Could not parse content for file:///C:/Users/user1/AppData/Local/Programs/Akiflow/resources/app.asar/publish/renderer/main.js.map: Unexpected end of JSON input
...
And one error message close to the bottow of the logs:
1. Object
main.js:2 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'render') at Ek (main.js:2:4265625)
background-2.29.16.js:2 [worker] [syncNow] running AkiflowSync from origin: internal
The last entry is :
main.js:2 [electron_renderer] [NativeIntegrations.getDateTimeLocale] Done
background-2.29.16.js:2 [worker] [syncNow] running AkiflowSync from origin: websocket
1. ['calendars']
Could you please check and provide feedback. I can't use Akiflow since the last update. If it can't be fixed quickly, can I somehow get an export of my entries (e.g. CSV, ...)?
Thanks

Hi Francesco, I have been having this issue as well. The only thing that's worked for me is to uninstall and reinstall Akiflow. I've opened it in debug mode just now and see quite a few errors. It's happened twice now that I open the app and get a white screen.

Hi Hilary, thanks for reporting this. Can you please try starting Akiflow In debug mode and let us know if you see any errors?
To start Akiflow in debug mode:
- Completely quit Akiflow
- Open a console application in windows
- Copy and paste the following command: "C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Programs\Akiflow\Akiflow.exe" -d Please replace <USER> with your actual user name.
When you start Akiflow in debug mode you will see two additional windows. In these windows, there may be some errors (in red). You can check the "console tab in these windows (see screenshot).
In addition to this, there may be some logs in the terminal from which you started Akiflow.
Let me know if you find anything,
Francesco
