Automatic assignment/import of projects

I would like akiflow to automatic assign a defined project to specific integrations (es: a gmail account)

AI auto assign projects based on integration
K
Katya Sarmiento
Right now I have two integrations - ClickUp and Linear. I also have a project for each integration because they're associated with different work.
ClickUp = #ClickUpProject
Linear = #LinearProject
There's other projects (like #Writing for example) as well that are completely unrelated to the tasks that come from this integration.
When a task is imported from one of these integrations, I'd like the AI to auto-assign it to the project it's associated with. Right now, it assigns it to other projects so I have to go in and change it every single time.
For example, I might get a task "Write follow up email" from my ClickUp integration. AI will assign it to the #Writing project, which would normally make sense, but it's not related in this case because #Writing is for personal stuff. It should be assigned to #ClickUpProject but it never does no matter how many times I fix it. Same for Linear integration.
My AI is as 30% learning and the only tasks that ever really get added and auto-assigned by AI are the integration tasks, so it has me a bit worried that it's not even gotten one assignment right yet.

Set Microsoft To Do lists to automically associate/tag with Akiflow projects

I have a personal Microsoft To Do account as well as associated personal task lists within that account. I want to add them all to Akiflow as well to use Akiflow for personal planning, but I am worried that Akiflow and its AI will automatically add them all to different work related projects. There are 1,000 tasks across different lists so I don't want to go through and fix each one. Is there a way to make sure Akiflow automatically imports each task associated with a Microsoft To Do account, or at least a specific To Do list, to automatically all get added to a specific Akiflow project?

Hey Jeson P I think my ask wasn't clear, that's not what I am asking or confused about. I am requesting to automatically correlate specific To Do lists with specific projects. For example, if I have a list in To Do called "X", I want to be able to tell Akiflow to always add tasks in that list to a specific project, maybe also called "X" or something like "Y". The AI tries to do this, but sometimes misses some, and I think if there was a way to just tell it to automatically put everything in this list in this one project, it would also save on AI api call costs.

Hi Ferris we currently do not have this feature but it is easy to identify auto assigned projects :) If there is a star icon before the project name, it means that AI added it. You can also easily organize and clean your inbox by adding tasks to the someday page if you cannot plan them yet, so when all the MS To do tasks gets imported, you can bulk select and add them to the relevant project.
Other option would be to turn off the AI in the settings and turn it back on once you are done importing the tasks. Let me know!

Link linear projects to Akiflow projects

This would make all Linear tasks added be automatically linked to an Akiflow project (if the connection between projects has been set up)

Clickup - Sort by clickup list

Akiflow already imports the list a clickup task belongs to. Can we have the ability to sort all tasks by their clickup list?

Import Asana project to Akiflow project

I'd like to set in Akiflow the same project as in Asana. For example, if an imported task in Asana is Admin, I'd like the project to be also #Admin in Akiflow.

Akiflow for Outlook: Selecting a Project
S
Steven Lacroix
It would be really useful to be able to select a project when sending an Outlook email to Akiflow. I understand that it may not be possible to retrieve our existing Akiflow projects from Outlook, but an alternative might be to allow us to enter #ProjectName in a new input field dedicated to this.
I send most of my emails to Akiflow that I can't respond to immediately and requires me to take action. All my tasks in Akiflow are under projects, and at the moment I have to juggle between Akiflow and Outlook on every email so I categories it properly. The flow just doesn't feel right. I would much rather stay in Outlook and clear my inbox while attaching my email to projects. What are your thoughts?
Jeson P
Hi Tim! Thanks for this feedback. Just to understand better, you want it for imported ClickUp tasks to carry over the list it was a part of through tags?

Tim
Jeson P Either tags or projects would work.

Tim: Got it! We just released an AI related feature which will auto add projects to your imported tasks - The AI should learn and adapt to your workflow overtime.

Yes!!! My Asana projects are a one-to-one match for my Akiflow projects. Would love the ability to set the Aikflow project when I configure the project for import.
