Block time on multiple calendars

Adding a comment on behalf of Marius:
something I would really love to have in akiflow, as I have multiple google accounts that I use daily (private + work and also work + work) connected anyways, is a form of calendar sync. i’m currently using reclaim.ai just because their sync feature works best (compared to smaller, cheaper solutions)
e.g. I’m currently involved full time at a client where I have an account / calendar. I also have my private gcal and from my own company. I need to show times that are booked in one of the calendars in all of them (so they dont get overbooked)

Lock task on multiple calendar

I'd like to lock a timeslot on several agendas when I add a task to my schedule.

This would be really helpful!
For example; my girlfriend does use Google Calendar but not Akiflow, I want to duplicate certain events and tasks onto our combined Google Calendar.
Another one: I build a 2nd brain for a client and want to help him with his calendar. The man has 7! Businesses with different calendars that I would like to manage from one. We can do this almost via Cron/ Notion Calendar but task syncing is ofcourse a problem there.
Can you create a workflow for this like a sync option similar to the other akiflow integrations?
A simpler workaround/ "MVP" for you could be recreating the "Duplicate to calendar" function and button from Cron/ Notion Calendar (see image)? I use that function all the time, one of the few reasons to keep using Cron/ Notion Calendar for now. (I also like the "Docs and links" feature that allows me to create and connect pages from within notion to calendar events. It would be great to have that in Akiflow as well for tasks and events but that is another request haha)

Roelof: Thank you for this idea! We will review this if we decide to work on this in the future!

This would be LIFE CHANGING for me as a Freelancer with upwards of 10 personal and client calendars. Wish I could vote x1000 more for this option.

I'd like to be able to block out time on my professional calendar that corresponds with events on my personal calendar. These would be duplicated events with a general title like "Busy • Personal Event". This way, my colleagues can see when I have personal commitments at specific times, and when I send a booking link to a client, those time slots won't be available.
I'm currently using https://www.onecal.io/ to achieve this. However, the issue is that I see both events in my calendar view in Akiflow.

Share Availability: Block Multiple Calendars

I would like the Share Availability feature to allow me to block multiple calendars when a slot is booked. Rather than only appearing on one calendar, I would like it to be visible on multiple calendars as a booked or blocked schedule.

The lack of this feature is becoming a serious annoyance for me. Akiflow stops me from double-booking my time, but lack of cross calendar blocking means that others aren't stopped unless I manually block it out... which kinda defeats the whole purpose of having a central place to manage my time. The lack of this feature (and given the age of this request, an apparently lack of any desire to implement) is making me seriously reconsider my subscription as it's not solving the problems I have with time management.

James McCutcheon: Hi James, thanks for sharing this with us. We've been focusing on other features lately but we do like the idea of adding this feature.
Can you confirm that your colleagues book slots in your calendar using the meet with feature?

Stefania Hi Stefania. No, they don't, and this is the problem. I am not special; no one at my work or university or community organisation is going to book meetings in a totally different platform when they're all using whatever the organisation uses (mostly Outlook, some Google). Nor should I expect them to - work provides me with an M365 account and it's totally reasonable for them to expect me to use it for work related bookings.
The problem arises when a work colleague books time in my work Outlook calendar. That needs to sync up to Akiflow (and does, no problem there), but then the blockout needs to sync back to my university calendar, my personal calendar, my community calendar, otherwise these people won't know I'm already booked - they aren't seeing my Akiflow calendar like I do.
Stefania
James McCutcheon: all clear, thank you so much for sharing James!
