It would be really great to see support for desktop widgets on macOS... kind of surprised this hasn't been implemented yet given there are already iOS widgets built and macOS can use those...

William Hummel: Great point! macOS widgets would be a natural next step—we’ll definitely keep this on our radar.

Native Desktop widget for MacOS Sonoma

The widget that appears to be inherited from mobile when on desktop with MacOS Sonoma is brilliant but has a few flaws.
- It doesn’t show Timeslots
- You can’t interact with it - say to add a new task, or to tick a task off as completed.
This is missing a great opportunity.
Primarily I want to see the countdown of a timeslot so I know how long is left for those tasks I’m trying to complete in that timeslot.

Thank you for sharing this! We currently do not support Desktop widgets but it's great that this is being requested already so other can check and upvote!

Widgets are really amazing, especially when they give you a bunch of viewing options. With customization options, just the tasks/views we most need to see can be constantly displayed without changing anything in the app, which then can be used more fluidly.
Some ideas:
• Tasks only, filtered by tag, priority, and/or due date (eg., we could have just our Highest Priority tasks tagged Work & due today; all tasks tagged Waiting; all tasks tagged “Calls”). It’s so helpful to have a most-preferred list pinned to the desktop, whatever that might be for someone
• Side-by-side Today calendar and filtered tasks
• Calendar view, Today only, including all scheduled tasks and events
• Side-by-side Calendar view: Today and Tomorrow, etc.

Hi, Goran, thanks for your feedback, what kind of data you'd like to see in the widget?
