Fit precisely elements in the calendar

I'd like to be able to be more precise about time blocking i.e. if I have tasks that I estimate to take 10min and 5min I'd like to be able to pull them into the calendar without them overlapping. For example task A (10min) fits into the calendar from 2pm until 2:10pm and after that task B (5min) fits into the calendar from 2:10pm until 2:15pm. Currently, all tasks take up 15min blocks.

Precision dragging of tasks and events with e.g. 5 min interval

Currently when you drag an event, task, time slot the interval is 15 min. It would be nice to maybe hold down a key to activate precision dragging to be e.g. 5 min intervals, so that I can faster plot down an e.g. 20 min task, instead of dragging 15 or 30 min and then changing after.
Attached is the current behavior.

Task / event snapping

I want something like snapping events together if pressing shift while dragging and dropping events where you can place tasks right after one another, without any interval between, currently if tried this means that they end up overlaping making 2 columns or stacking up in the same block.

Customizable time increments (e.g., 5, 10, or 15 minutes) when editing via drag-and-drop on the calendar for scheduling precision.

Calendar: enable 5 minutes time increment

Even with the largest view, I still get only 15 minute steps when about to create an event. I would assume a higher zoom would enable finer granularity of the shadow, say 5 minute steps. Or at least enabled via holding some modifier key for higher precision.
Related would be that if there are events that end on say 35th minute of hour or 40th minute, I'd like to creation or especially moving of adjacent events to inteligently snap to start at the point of ending of the other event.

This is one of the main things that puts me on the fence with Akiflow. I really like the platform, but I am currently using another Planner that allows for smaller (even down to the minute) increments. It is very handy when I need to schedule (and then possibly move/reschedule) smaller tasks. Having them "snap" to the 15min increment blocks is very annoying. As said below, I need an app that can essentially save me time.
I am hoping that after almost a year since this issue/suggestion was made, it would be fairly high on the priority list.
Thanks.

Brad: We hear you on this! This makes total sense and we are really hoping we can start working on this development in the future!

Thanks Jeson P
I don't want to seem difficult, but a more granular calendar experience is a must for busy professionals.
I find myself completely "packing" my calendar with many tasks in an effort to get as much done as possible. Every minute counts (that's no exaggeration) so a densely packed schedule is the reality for me (and probably many others).
I know some people say to "buffer" and "take breaks" and "less is more" and blah, blah, blah, but the reality is that busy professionals can't afford any "fluff" in their day.
Anyway, thanks again for the reply. I hope Akiflow can work on this really soon. It is badly needed in the platform.

I would really like to see this feature added really soon.
I can create a task on a 5min increment but I then can’t drag it at the same resolution if I need to move/reschedule it to later in the day. Instead, I have to open it and do it manually. That’s a waste of time when the App is meant to save me time.
Please implement this ASAP.
Thanks.

Brad: Thank you for your feedback! We understand the need for better precision when rescheduling tasks and will share this with our team. We’re always working to improve the app, and your input helps. Thanks again!

Notion Calendar enables 5 minute granularity when holding down ^⌥ keys. Regardless of the zoom view. That would be very nice.

For example, 5m ought to appear smaller than 15m.

If I move a task to the current time, it would be great if it could not only snap to every quarter hour, but also start at the current time
