I am a member of some groups that have weekly meetups. I am subscribed to their calendar, which helps me remember when it is if I want to go. However, I don't always want to go, and instead want to schedule different events over that time slot.
This becomes messy, and since it isn't an event invitation, I can't mark myself as not going or delete the event. My only option is to hide the subscribed calendar entirely, but when I do this, I forget that the meetup happens.
It would be great if we could have an option to hide specific instances of these recurring events on subscribed calendars.
A clean way to do this might be to enable the "delete" option for those events (which is usually only enabled for events we create or are invited to) but handle it differently on the backend.
