Hierarchy of Goals (weekly/monthly)
Stefania
I would like to have bigger Goals - not tied to specific tasks - and be reminded that I'm working for the top one, to keep having the bigger picture of what I'm working on.
Thus during the day we can always ask ourselves: are we doing the good thing? Is it the fastest route to our goal? We got late on the plan, what did we learn and what can be done to get the goal done anyway?

Set weekly/monthly goals that involve multiple tasks

A goal is not the same as a task...
A goal is not the same as a project...
A goal is not a level of the priority of a task...
A goal is a description of what you want to achieve as a result of the project...
A project is a collection of tasks with an end goal. The work-process should support that. (There can be also forever on-going projects, but those can be categorized as Labels..)
Currently, the only way to set goals is to set a task with a priority of "Goal"... And all the other tasks are not necessarily connected to that task.. sorry.. goal...
Instead...
Set us set goals for the projects.
Then, let us list tasks that support the completion of that goal.
Right now.. this the "goals" function is nonexistent and therefore not useful, but confusing instead. Better remove the Goals "Priority" if it is not serving a purpose..

Would be great to be able to associate a task with a goal. That way, I could track what’s remaining to be done for that goal and see the progress towards it.

Would love to tie everything to metrics to those goals, and update any progress during weekly reviews.

LOVE this new feature!
Would it be possible to add "tomorrow" to the Overview Tab?
Currently there is: Today, This Week, Next Week, This Month, Next Month. I think it would be helpful to add a "Tomorrow" Column to this view. Also, please make these columns collapsible if possible. This way, we can see only the columns we need at the given moment.

Arman Abedini YES -- that's a GREAT idea. The new layout is fantastic, and would be even better with Tomorrow available, especially when planning. I found myself having to find work-arounds or Replan one at a time. This would help.

Hi everyone!:)
You can now add Weekly Goals while doing your Weekly Planning Ritual and review them at the end of the week (Weekly Shutdown).
Being tasks, Goals can be planned for a specific date or be kept in the Week timeframe.
You can find here the list of the new updates: https://product.akiflow.com/changelog.
Let me know what you think about the new release and if you still feel the need of a more powerful goals feature!
Thanks,
Stefania

Stefania this is sooooo helpful. Saves me time of picking a made up day/time that I very likely will not use just to get stuff out of my inbox. Thank you 🙏

Hi everyone!
You can now create Goals (tasks with the priority goal) and have them planned for a time frame, being very visible both in the Upcoming Page and in the Daily and Weekly Rituals.
In the Weekly Rituals there are new steps focusing solely on your goals.
You can find here the list of today’s updates: https://product.akiflow.com/changelog.
Let me know what you think :)

Goals were more prominent

I use goals to set a certain number of imperatives (if I do nothing else I must). I wish that I could actually track progress to goals throughout the day.
They're currently hard to see and track against.
Dream world is a mobile or nav widget that shows progress to goals.

One of the feature I love from Sunsama, is the ability to create weekly goal and to align existing and new task to this goal. It helps weekly planning and to reach goals.
