This is needed. It's been over three years since requested.

I use iCloud for personal time blocking, as well as events with family/friends. This is a must in an app that I use for overall time-blocking. I'll use the app once this feature comes.

Hi, could you please add an Apple Calendar Integration, else I will not keep my subscription either
Jeson P
Léa Reiter: We cannot provide any ETA on this :(

YES, i will not be keeping my subscription without Apple calendar integration. Apple calendar is the calendar I use for everything. Akiflow is almost useless to me, without it. Thank you.

Need Apple calendar integration to be able to use this. Would totally buy when available!
Jeson P
Christine Johnson: Can't wait to make this available!

This was as a gateway solution for me to get to exchange calendar as local calendars would cover many options. Resolved s different way.

Benjamin Sanders:
Got it! Thanks for letting me know—it’s helpful to hear how you worked around it. We’ll keep this on the radar when we’re exploring new features!

Could you consider adding Apple Calendar integration? As someone who migrated from Microsoft/Google Calendar a while ago, I find this feature crucial. Many professionals use Apple devices, so this integration would greatly enhance productivity. In fact, the lack of Apple Calendar integration was the first thing that made me rethink using this software. Would this be possible in a future update?
Jeson P
Constantin Minov: Thanks for the suggestion! I totally get how important Apple Calendar integration is, especially for Apple users. I’ll make sure this gets on our radar for future updates—appreciate you sharing your feedback!

Currently trailing, will be back when this is added! Absolutely love Akiflow but my family calendar is managed with apple, and so I’m only getting 1/2 functionality I need rn.
Jeson P
Julie Laufer: So sad to see you go :( We will surely notify you and all users who voted for this once this is decided!

without local calendars i can't access corporate calendars - which are sanctioned on native macos but not as separate logins for microsoft exchange calendars. Large org never gives permission for apps, so without this i can't access work, ergo this minimizes it's value BIG TIME
Jeson P
Benjamin Sanders: Hi! Do you have a GCal that you can use to sync your Apple calendar events? If so, try it and let me know if it works as a temporary solution? :)

development complexity, and "~10x more" effort required than G***le or msft to build and maintain for apple, remain the biggest block for this integration for many awesome best-in-class platforms. they tell me they wish for a "modern web api".
the dev team seems very responsive to these comments. do you have anything to add about this re:apple-integration? Do you have feedback you'd give to apple, lets say, if i had a path to an ear that listens and acts?

i'm a 6x-er on sunsama.com. it feels like i imagine a wild horse feels as it fights and adjusts to wearing a bit, bridle, and blinders. this sixth time is going to be the one that i go forward with, but the beauty of akiflow is tempting me right now.
Jeson P
Mike Oh: Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's great to hear that the dev team is responsive to feedback regarding Apple integration. A "modern web API" would indeed be a significant step toward improving compatibility with various platforms, and any push toward that would be valuable. As for feedback to Apple, I’d suggest advocating for more open, developer-friendly tools to enhance integrations, allowing platforms like Akiflow to better serve users across ecosystems.
Also, best of luck on your sixth time with Sunsama—hopefully, it clicks for you, though Akiflow's simplicity can be hard to resist!
