Can you please let us know the status of this feature? I recently got into akiflow and loving the app experience so far. I was initially confused to see that my projects did not get imported from todoist, nor did my projects get auto assigned/imported when I create a new task in todoist. My use case is to use todoist for quick capture, where I will consolidate by project already. This should reflect in the respective project in akiflow. With the AI, I can see it assigning a project based on what it thinks, rather than what the actual project name is for what the task is.

Without this feature, one it breaks my current workflow. two I need to recreate entire todoist structure in akiflow. three, it also makes me reconsider subscription.

Guys I am ready to develop this myself and for free. As mvp for this i see just importing project names (flat, without nested structure) during the sync, looks easy to do and you can do it using their default read resources uri. I am pretty sure you won't event need a client changes https://developer.todoist.com/sync/v9/#read-resources

Can this same feature also include nested Projects? For example the primary/parent Project might be "Administration" with nested Projects of "Email Administration" and/or "General Administration" etc. If all of the tasks that come into Akiflow are just all dumped in with no form of hierarchy then it just ends up being one big overwhelming mess.

Please consider including nested Projects as part of the import process, so essentially you are mimicking the Todoist layout. From there, users can manipulate the data using different views, or, just focus on tasks in one Project and/or nested Project/s.

Hi, Jeson P. Thanks for the reminder that AI will automatically assign projects to tasks. Looks like this request is about importing Todoist's labels (tags), not project names.

Yeah, I'm really seeing the value and wisdom in this, too. It would be so helpful to be able to important Todoist Project A into Akiflow Project A (or B or C) directly. And to bring the tags/labels along would be that much better.

This would be even more valuable now you’ve added stats. I’m looking for a headline view of the projects I’ve worked on so I can see the balance in my week. This helps me to plan the focus for the next week.

Having projects automatically synced would make this a much easier process.

This, alongside creating new tasks in Todoist, would be perfect and solidify the power of Akiflow.

This is a huge improvement, it can be done simply too, nothing complex is really needed for most use cases. When todoist task has a label that is exact match for project, keep it in akiflow.

I also think this would be great. I don't have an opinion on how to actually implement it as part of the integration but it would be really useful.

This is really a must feature, having to manually filter each Todoist task is really asking too much. Appreciate the 2-way sync but that is really just the start. Keep up the good work!
