Involving Aki in Our Daily Rituals & Goal Setting

Involve Aki in our daily and weekly rituals! Imagine Aki helping us plan our days, set goals, and break them down into actionable steps, going beyond just carrying out commands or prompting us with updates. I believe Aki could guide us through goal setting and help us understand our personal workflows better (like over-planning, frequently forwarding tasks, or leaving tasks lingering in the Inbox). With access to how we interact with Akiflow, Aki could offer insights that help us level up individually. Most apps focus on convenience, but I’m convinced Akiflow could help us increase our capacity. I'd love to discuss this with the group if others are interested—I'm sure the group-think would be fantastic!

This!!! I was about to make a similar post. Latch-on AI is often not useful or outside of the normal workflow so it's not as natural to use. If it's integrated into how we're already using Akiflow it's way more natural to use.
Daily Rituals:
During planning: Aki can recommend the daily schedule based on tasks on the day and any overdue tasks. It should also look at the "someday" tasks and recommend scheduling them every now and then.
During shutdown: offer suggestions on when to replan activities not accomplished. Offer recommendations on improving efficiency
Weekly:
Planning: Help shape goals and maybe recommend additional tasks that will lead toward accomplishing the goal. Based on historical performance recommend more or less goals for the week (e.g. if I normally accomplish 5 goals a week but have 10 goals, alert and recommend pushing some goals to the following week)

Sheldon Thomas: the existing workflow. These daily and weekly touchpoints are great opportunities for Aki to offer smart, timely suggestions. Also, trying to feed Aki with your habits in the AKI WORKFLOWS and checking in regularly could help tailor its notifications to your needs even better. We’ll definitely keep this in mind!

I second this and would quadruple it if I could!
I really need help scheduling my tasks and prioritizing from an overwhelmingly large number of tasks every day.

Mandi Peach: Totally hear you!

Stefania Thanks for putting this under review! Chat GPT models are increasingly able to give remarkable insights for other uses. I could imagine being able to say to Aki, "Please help me create a realistic week during rituals" or "Please help me notice when tasks have become stagnant or been forwarded too many times and remind me during rituals" and have it give us genuine help. I could imagine it helping us prioritize things in a question-and-answer process where it actually learns what matters to us. I'd love the option to teach Aki my own review process, too (please start here, then ask me this, then help me review these... ). So many possibilities!

Stefania Even more broadly, another thought: As a psychologist I have a few clients who process dreams and life events all the time with Chat. They're now able to ask for insights (even, hilariously, "what should I talk about in therapy today?") and get stunningly perceptive answers. It's shocking. What if Aki could do the same for us? Like, "Hey Aki, can you help me figure out how to be more productive?" and have it offer real insight about our process? Building out the timer to track time spent on tasks would give Aki more information for this kind of thing -- it could see, for example, that we often underestimate task duration and over-plan the day, or that tasks from XYZ project always take longer than we think. Similarly, if Akiflow decides to add longterm Goals, Aki could help us see, for example, which goals languish and which ones we tend to follow through on. These ideas all seem too big to be possible soon, but that's what I'd have thought about a lot of what AI can do already! Thanks for letting me think out loud here...😊
