Hi everyone! Last year we added more color options, do you still feel the need for more? Thank you:)

Stefania Being able to assign colors to projects was a nice addition. However, I think there're still a few things that could be improved around colors. See attached screenshot:
- There are not enough colors to choose from. For example, I have projects of different "types" within a single folder, and I want to assign a "color range" for each type (e.g. within my Work folder, individual projects are blues and collaborative projects are greens), but there are only a couple of "tones" of each color.
- Time slots get the project color in the calendar view, but individual tasks don't. So, if you don't use time slots and have long tasks, your calendar will be just a lot of big empty black boxes with only a tiny emoji in the corner, when the boxes could be colored (and have bigger emojis, display tags, etc...)
- The timeslot color in the calendar view is quite different from the one you selected. In the screenshot, I selected some pink (RGB111,13,56), but the timeslot looks purple (RGB76,62,86).
- Folders cannot have colors. Not sure how this would like in the calendar view (maybe as a colored border?), but could be helpful to color-code projects further, particularly when there are few colors to choose from.

Miguel I agree with everything here. More colors/palettes would be helpful for the wider variety of projects and tasks. Furthermore, I agree with having task slots be more prominent for that given task, i.e. bigger emoji, filled in color for the task at hand like it does for time slots. That would be a game changer for me.

Stefania yes, I still feel that. For the calendar there is full flexibility in HEX and RGB, but not so for projects so it will be great to add and have tasks and meetings match

Miguel: Thank you so much for sharing this Miguel!
I'll leave this request open and will consider all your points when we'll review this. Thanks again for taking the time :)

This is very important to me. I, like many other people, have established color coding systems that I've been using for years. The options available in Akiflow can't accommodate my current system, so I have to either remember that there's a difference in Akiflow or reconfigure a system that has been working for me so it can accommodate Akiflow's color options.
