Ability to edit tasks with a duration before scheduling it in the calendar

I just recently discovered that you could create tasks and use "=15m" to set the duration for 15 minutes (or whatever duration you choose) or use Cmd + = while a task is selected, but I would like the ability to edit a task and set its estimated duration BEFORE I schedule it in my calendar using my mouse (i.e. an icon of some sorts).

Noticed that this was possible on the iOS beta (there's a sandclock icon that allows you to edit the duration of a task) and it'd be great to have this on desktop as well.

A lot of times I tend to have one of my hands on my mouse and it would just be easier to do this in a few clicks instead of using a keyboard shortcut to open up the command bar.
