Ability to reset "selected" with hotkey while in control bar

I'd like to add an inbox or scheduled task from anywhere within Akiflow, without having to leave my current location. Currently, hotkey "C" does not let you add a task say if you are on the "all tasks" or "Someday" page. And if you are in those folders whe you pull up the Command bar, there is always a task already selected which severely limits what you can do, including add a new task.
