All Tasks view missing from taskbar

Customer Lois Wilkinson from Nesta reports that the 'All Tasks' view, previously visible on the Akiflow taskbar, has disappeared. The view is currently only accessible via control keys. The customer is requesting assistance to permanently re-pin the 'All Tasks' view to the taskbar. Support has informed the customer that the current design reflects a highly requested layout and has submitted a feature request on their behalf to bring back the 'All Tasks' view in the side panel.

    All task is a basic list that should be available with all filters (priority, project, tags) included. Ideally with Kanban view.

    Also there is a wekness in “this week”, “this month” list in the taskbar, because these lists dont include the task that has a specific date in the week or month. It only shows if I have define the value (This week” or this MOnth” for the task. It should be smarter.

      Thanks for the feedback about the All task view.

      One clarification about weekly and monthly time frames in Akiflow:

      Assigning a task to a week or a month is completely separate from assigning it to a specific date. A task can have a date without being assigned to that week, and vice versa. The time frames are intentionally separated so you can say, “I want to execute a task on this specific date,” or “I know the task will be done in a particular week but I don’t yet know the exact date.”

      Because the two systems do not overlap, when you open the “This week” list you see only tasks assigned to that week, without a specific date. The monthly time frame works the same way.

    All tasks view seems to have been removed for an unknown reason? Can we get it reinstated ASAP please?

    Thanks for reporting this. The change is currently by design. We recently updated the sidebar navigation to reduce confusion around the old All Tasks page, which mixed different kinds of tasks under one view and wasn’t always intuitive to navigate.

    As part of that update, we introduced more dedicated sections like Someday and moved secondary views behind the More menu, so the main sidebar stays cleaner while still giving access to those pages.

    We understand that for some workflows, having All Tasks pinned in the sidebar was useful, so your feedback is valid. We’ve logged it internally as a request to reconsider bringing easier access to that view back in the side panel.

      Hi Tadej, without an All Tasks view, it’s easy to lose track of tasks. And it’s harder to know how to prioritize my tasks and goals without being able to see all of them. It feels like I have tasks hidden away that I’ve forgotten about - and that’s the exact opposite feeling I should have after subscribing to Akiflow. Please bring it back to us 🙏

    The problem is I can’t find any way to view all tasks still pending so I can bulk edit them. The closest option is Upcoming where I have to scroll to the right a ton to find all tasks far in the future.

    They are accessible to me by clicking on the Command bar.

    Then Selecting

    » Go to from the Navigation drop down option

    All Tasks appears in the drop down section of the » Go to category

    I think this is a critical tab to have. Similar to email, checking the All Emails is something I do regularly to sanity check I haven’t missed anything.

    “All tasks” should also have the ability to order manually so I can use it as a backlog if I want.

    I also miss the All Tasks overview. When I need to perform certain checks, I currently have to go through every menu option separately to find and filter all tasks. I would like to have a single view showing all open tasks.

    This is an essential option and I do not understand why it was removed. I used it regularly to see everything in one place, just as I would if I were keeping a running paper to do list. Is there a plan to bring this back? If not, Akiflow becomes far less useful for me and I would reconsider my subscription.
