Automatically find the first calendar item

Sometimes I scroll from day to day, one day I will see calendar items, and the next will look blank. I then have to scroll down to find the first calendar item for that day. It would be nice if there was some sort of button you could push to automatically go to the first calendar item each day so you don't have to scroll up and down to find where the calendar starts each day.
