Creating checkboxes using [] in command bar not working

When I use the Command Bar to create a new task and expand the task using Alt + Enter, I'm able to write in a description. However, the shortcut to create checkboxes, [], does not actually create a checkbox after creating the task. The checkbox button also does not work.

    Hi everyone, we'll release a full review of the command bar next week. In this review we removed the edit section (option/alt enter) so this bug is not relevant anymore. Can't wait to hear your feedback on the new command bar! Thanks for your help.
