Differentiate between scheduled meetings and planned tasks easily in calendar view

I would like to glance at my calendar and easily visually tell which items are scheduled meetings (ie they are anchored in my day's planning and can't be moved) and which items are my own scheduled tasks or time blocks.

I could see having meetings show up as the darker "hover" color all the time and leaving tasks and time blocks as lighter in color as one approach.
