The right sidebar that was introduced some months ago contains just 4 buttons. The entire vertical space is taken up just to house that one sidebar. This takes away from the calendar and other columns' width.
Also, I don't know why but it doesn't create a good flow. I think a much cleaner method would be to just have a collapsible arrow either to reveal the 4 buttons (like how chat pop-ups are implemented on websites), or allow the column itself to be collapsed (like Gmail's right sidebar which has Calendar and Maps buttons).
This also aligns with the new changes being introduced in Akiflow where one can resize task and calendar columns. Why not allow collapsing the sidebar also?
Personally, I also don't use any of the 4 options that are there in the column, so I would prefer to just hide them away and make space for other items.
The Akiflow UI for those 4 buttons before the right sidebar was introduced was actually pretty good, and was one of the reasons that I signed up to Akiflow for - seeing only the most essential stuff, and non-essential items like "Chat with us", "Help and guides", "Meet With" hidden away and not becoming an eyesore.
I have attached screenshots for reference.
