With Aki launched and able to do a solid job, I strongly encourage the product management team to deprioritize continued AI development and go back to addressing the fundamentals.
Things like subtasks, native apps, or simple kanban/project views are basic and fundamentally expected items for nearly all free or low-cost task or project managers. The top of the feedback list is chock full of requests for simple features that are industry standards for tools with substantially lower price points.
I think that most users can understand waiting while other efforts are prioritized. However, consistently ignoring the most highly requested, basic industry features for years on end is concerning, especially given there is still no apparent desire to address them. Akiflow could implement the world’s best AI tomorrow, or have the world’s most integrations, but it will always have a low ceiling if it is built upon a limited foundation that is consistently beaten by free competitors.
I love the functionality of Akiflow. There is obviously a reason I chose it in the first place. You guys have nailed the harder stuff. But please, consider addressing the simple things people have been asking you about for years…
-Sincerely, a passionate user.
