Have more obvious notification for timer

I would like to have a more clearer notification when the timer is up rather than it just moving to the next timer period. Currently if you have music or anything else playing the notification from the timer is not as clear.

Some thing like a popup with an alarm or something would be pretty cool something that would force an interaction maybe
