Icon in task if description is populated

I have a recurring task that I do every week, but every now and then I need to do an extra bit for it, so I put it in the description. However, there is no indicator for the task in the calendar view indicating that it’s present for me to know that I need to check.

If it could show a little icon to indicate there’s description that would be really helpful! as a workaround I just add an asterisk to the title of that instance, which works ok but it would be nice if it did it automatically!

There are other similar posts open, ideally would like to see a merged final product of all of them. We can already see the task description in the sidebar, having it in calendar view for scheduled tasks is even more helpful.

Thanks for sharing this! That’s a really thoughtful suggestion. Having a small icon to indicate when a task has a description would definitely make it easier to catch extra context at a glance, especially for recurring tasks like yours.

We’ll pass it along to our product team. Appreciate you also sharing your workaround — that kind of detail is really helpful for us.

separate icon for link, tag, and any other differentiators would be helpful too!
