Implement Forward and Back functionality

If I am working in my Inbox or Today and I need to momentarily visit a project, or if I'm in a project and need to visit another project, and so on… the ability to click a "go back" or "go forward" navigation would be very helpful to speed up my workflow. Keyboard Maestro implements this really well and I use it all the time.
