Manual Sort Order in project (Like Inbox)

It seems like I can sort tasks manually in the Inbox, but I can't do so in a project, is this expected? I prefer to manually sort tasks and moving them up and down in the list with the keyboard, rather than ordering by e.g. priority. Given we have sections ideally it would work seamlessly with those sections, moving tasks between them appropriately if we eg get to the bottom of one section and move the task down, it should move into the top of the next section.

Also selection more than one task and moving them up or down via a keyboard shortcut would be amazing.
