Mobile App: Quick Task Creation with Media Input (Voice, Photo, Text)"

1. What is the problem you are trying to solve?

It is currently not possible to quickly create a task in the Akiflow mobile app based on a photo, audio recording, or note. For this, I am currently using an external tool like Braintoss (https://product.akiflow.com/features-and-improvements-request/p/braintoss-integration), which adds an extra step and dependency. A WhatsApp (https://product.akiflow.com/features-and-improvements-request/p/send-akiflow-a-whatsapp-message-to-create-a-task-from-mobile) integration could be a possible solution, but I think direct functionality in the Akiflow app would be more efficient.

2. In your mind, what does the feature look like?

Similar to Braintoss: you open the Akiflow app (or a separate companion app) with three large buttons:

• Voice memo: to record a voice message that gets added as a task, including a transcription (if possible).

• Photo: to capture or upload a photo, which gets attached to a task.

• Note: to quickly type a text-based task.

The app would be fully integrated with Akiflow, and tasks would automatically be added to the central task list. Optionally, the app could use AI to analyze media (like voice recordings or photos) and categorize tasks more intelligently.

3. What is the long-term benefit?

With this feature, I would no longer need external apps like Braintoss or WhatsApp integrations to create tasks in Akiflow from a mobile device. This reduces complexity, increases efficiency, and helps me better follow the GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology by capturing thoughts immediately. AI analysis would allow tasks to be automatically structured, saving time and boosting productivity.
