Mobile: Create task on Calendar

I like to plan my day in the morning when i have my mobile handy. I would want to see the tasks in today and the inbox section and drag the task to my calendar to timeblock them. I understand that i can schedule the task on opening the task bottom sheet, but that doesn't give me visibility of my free time in my calendar. Planning becomes difficult due to this. Is there some update in the works? Or is there a workflow that i am missing?
