Notion: Change and sync different statuses

I need a way to move items back and forth between the backlog and active tasks in Akiflow. Currently, items from Notion only appear in Akiflow if they're not in the backlog, which is what I want. Achieved via property filtering. When I move something out of the backlog in Notion (property change), it shows up in Akiflow. But if I want to move it back to the backlog (hide in Akiflow), changing its properties in Notion doesn't remove it from Akiflow.
