OVERLAPPING TASKS VISUAL INCONSISTENCY

Features & Improvements Request

When I have overlapping tasks on my time grid, there seems to be visual unpredictability—sometimes I can clearly see the overlap, with them side by side, while other times one appears on top of the other. I fear that the latter may affect the observability of some tasks. Please fix this and make it stable. I would rather the overlap be apparent.

    Thanks for flagging this! We completely understand how important it is to clearly see overlapping tasks, and how inconsistent visuals can affect tracking your work. We’ll relay this feedback to our product team so they can look into making the overlap display more stable and predictable.

    Attached is the screenshot illustrating the inconsistency. On the left, you can see tasks are placed side by side during an overlap. However, on the right, the 'Meeting on Academic Advising App' is stacked directly on top of 'Laundry.'

    This visual unpredictability is the core issue—if a shorter task is completely covered by a longer one, it loses all observability. I’d love to see a stable behavior implemented to ensure no tasks are 'lost' in the calendar view.

    I have mostly noticed this when a task overlaps with an event.
