It would be really helpful to have the ability to pin or favorite projects to streamline task creation and time slotting during day-to-day use.

Right now, with 10+ projects and several folders, it's a bit of a hassle to scroll, expand, and collapse folders just to find the right project. This quickly becomes cumbersome, especially for users managing multiple workstreams.

A simple pinning or favoriting feature would go a long way in improving workflow speed and reducing friction.

    Hi Ayman, you can now pin projects to the menu! Right-click a project in the Tasks menu and choose Pin to menu, or click the pin icon next to it. Pinned projects sit in the left menu, one click away, with no folders to expand.

    • Drag a task onto a pinned project to move it there

    • Drag a pinned project onto the calendar to create a time slot for it

    • Reorder pins by dragging, and right-click one to unpin it

    You can pin up to 5 items: projects, tags or sections like Upcoming. It’s part of version 2.83 on desktop and web, available to everyone from October 14. More in Navigating Akiflow.
