Show indicator on app icon in the dock/taskbar (date or # of remaining tasks)

Would be great for those using Akiflow as their primary calendar to be able to see the current date on the app icon (see the red icon). Different toggles would be helpful for other purposes (i.e. # of remaining planned tasks for today).
