Show Number of Tasks Planned Today in Menu Bar

When I open the menu bar I see 2 to-dos and 2 overdue tasks, but I want to be able to see '4' in the menu bar itself.

In my menu bar I have two custom email components that tell me how many unread emails I have in my personal and school gmail accounts respectively and it would be amazing to have a number next to the Akiflow icon too!
