Task Overdue Notification (4-Hour Delay Alert)

Implement a notification system that alerts users when a task is overdue by 4 hours or more. This feature would provide timely reminders for tasks that have fallen behind schedule, helping users stay on track and manage their time more effectively. The notification could be a pop-up or an email alert, allowing users to take immediate action on delayed tasks.

    Yes, the ability to be notified if I've forgotten something is absolutely key for my ADHD brain! Many times I will get the notification to start something, but if I can't start it right that minute, I will completely forget about it. Tasks either need to have overdue reminders, and/or they need to be moved back to the Inbox (like Sunsama), and/or have the option for AI to re-plan them automatically (like Motion).

      Relly: We currently remind users about overdue tasks in the Today page, where it's most relevant and helpful. While the Inbox is valuable, directing focus to Today aligns better with how the tool is designed to be used. 😊
