Please do this. Todoist is integrated with everything and I'd love to quick capture tasks to it directly in akiflow.

Frank: Hi Frank, thanks for your feedback! Which Todoist integrations are missing in Akiflow?

Stefania: you can email directly to Todoist (which covers Outlook users), Todoist’s mobile app is more mature and stable (not a slight towards akiflow, just a fact!), and Todoist on iPhone in particular has widgets + Siri for quick capture + action connectors for iOS shortcuts.

I couldn't agree more with this. I have used Todoist for almost 9 years I think. Prior to Akiflow my whole life work and personal were built out in Todoist! To be able to not have even more applications open and just be able to work out of Akiflow to be able to edit, add, and change Todoist tasks. Would be a game changer!

The reason this feature is important for not only Todoist, but any other integrated task manager, is because it demotes Akiflow as the "capture" device for tasks. I love the command bar to add tasks, but anything that I add to Akiflow I have to duplicate in my integrated task managers for the purpose of team visibility. And then once I add it to the integrated task manager, I have to delete the existing Akiflow task because it will be re-imported from the task manager. Imagine if you created a calendar event in Akiflow but it didn't sync to your Google calendar. It would be un-usable! It's the same for tasks. The more I rely on Akiflow daily, the more I wish I could push tasks from Akiflow to my integrated task manager of choice, per task.

Same here. For the moment I still use Todoist as my main task management app as it's the one that provides the best user experience accross all platforms of all in my opinion. Akiflow is an excellent complement to it to schedule the tasks. But sometimes if I find a new task while scheduling my day I would love to schedule it on my calendar and have it created in Todoist right away. In that way I can benefit having the Todoist reminder notifications of that task on my phone while I keep all my tasks organised by project & labels in Todoist.

This would be really awesome. Currently, I always create a new task in Todoist and not in Akiflow because Todoist is still my main source of truth because it has an awesome mobile app which allows adding new tasks very easily.

I 100% agree, that would encourage us to be "Akiflow-first" rather than "Todoist-first," so I open and review Akiflow much less, and only check it once I clear out my Todoist. A critical feature in my humble opinion.

Not having this really damages flow.

Looks like this is never coming up as it is pending since 2022 and we already half past 2025.

This would be great. I use Akiflow and Todoist both, but I still feel the need to capture new tasks in Todoist so they can be caught up in my Todoist filters and views. If I could create a task in Akiflow and have it also sync into Todoist, that would fix that problem.
