What is the problem you are trying to solve?

Currently, it is not possible to schedule a recurring task or timeslot on the 4th working day of a month.

In your mind, what does the feature look like?

The feature should allow users to schedule a recurring task or timeslot on a specific working day of the month, such as the 4th working day. Users should be able to select the specific day and indicate whether it should fall on a weekday.

If this idea is implemented, what is the long-term benefit to your business?

This feature would support a process that needs to be executed around the 4th working day of each month. By allowing the task to be scheduled only on weekdays and avoiding weekends, accuracy and efficiency would be improved.

    Repeat task with first business day

    When we type a recurrence on a monthly task, be able to put on “every first business day or work day, excluding weekends” instead of a day or a date

    Re-upping this for @Jeson P and others. This would be a very useful feature. For my use case, for example, I need to do something every quarter. I’d like to be able to schedule the task to recur on, say, the first or last working day of every third month.

    Hi Erik Zwep This is actually possible now :) When setting up a recurring task you can place it on the current's month or next month's 4th day so the same recurring option will be suggested. To access this, select 'custom' in the recurring option. Let me know!

      Thank you for your response, Jeson! However, I would like to emphasize that this specifically concerns scheduling recurring tasks on a working day, such as the 4th working day of the month, with the ability to automatically distinguish between weekdays and weekends.

      The goal is to prevent work-related tasks from being scheduled accidentally over the weekend. By having the option to differentiate between working days and regular days, tasks intended only for weekdays would not be scheduled on weekends. Is this possible, or is there a way to incorporate this distinction?
