Menu: show also number of planned tasks next to the project name
I'd like to see the number of all tasks related to a specific project. Right now, it seems to only show the counter for tasks in my inbox, but not the counter for the tasks that I have planned.

Hi Stefania, it definitely makes it not confusing anymore :) and removes 'redundancy'.
Nonetheless, it still does not allow a user to get a quick 'estimation' for the workload of any given label or tag.
When trying to track/balance completion of different projects handled by tags/labels, not having an indicator of how many tasks are in each makes it challenging when there are a lot of tasks in each.
Maybe if it 'clutters the UI', it could be hide/show setting?

Hi everyone! We completely removed the number of tasks next to the Label and Tag section in the menu. We felt it was redundant because it was referring to Inbox tasks only. What do you think? Thanks:)

Stefania: I was very actively using the numbers on the labels. It was my go to method of clearing out my inbox. Instead of going through a long single list in the inbox, it was a lot less overwhelming to tackle each label in an isolated manner. Also, since I use label for my main areas in life, it allowed me at a glance to see which area in life had tasks piling up.

Project: Show Task Counts per Project in Sidebar
I’d love to see the number of existing tasks displayed next to each project in the sidebar on desktop. It’s really convenient to quickly see how many tasks are left in each project at a glance.

I second this and am surprised this is not available. Seems such a basic thing to show anyone the number of tasks in any project. Especially when you are managing hundreds of project as otherwise you have to click into each project to see how many are left.

Show Numbers of open tasks in brackets next to each project & "!" if project contains tasks overdue
Two things (super easy to be changed) would make Aki much more helpful:
I have all my tasks split up into Projects and Folders - Is there any chance you could show the number of open tasks as a number in brackets next to each Project?

Gym (2)
Taxes (6)
VAT (0)
Family (2) !
could you add a "!" next to these very numbers for all folders that have overdue tasks in them (at least one) `?
My problem is I have 50+ of these projects and 30+ of them currently have no open tasks, so I don’t know which projects have open tasks and which don’t. right now I have to click through all these projects and folders and can’t really find my open tasks.
