I would like the ability to add text (in the description part of a task) and then highlight it and then do command K (or Control K I think on a PC) to make it into a link. I tried doing this just now and it just tried to add a new link as a task.

Stefania: yes, but that's not always what we're looking for. In most other rich-text editor apps, you can use hyperlinks to add a link in-line (see this example from Linear)
