Add extra notes & next steps to meeting
Would like to add notes, & tasks to meetings. Sunsama has a similar feature - where meetings can be converted to task, and next steps can be immediately captured within the meeting itself. (eg create next steps for that meeting, and able to click back on meeting for context)

+1 for this!! I agree with the other comments saying a link to Google docs would be super useful for this feature. Meeting notes would fit seamlessly into Akiflow's existing functionality around creating & scheduling meetings within the app.

That is critical to my workflow too. I've been using Agenda app to take meeting notes, but that is disconnected from my task list, and action items from my meetings don't naturally flow to my task list.
The best solution I've seen out there was Routine's app. Every meeting is a page that you can add notes and action items. You just click in the event and you have a notes are AND the calendar event details.

Adding a +1 to this. Specifically, I'd see real value in:
Showing the link to associated Google Docs for a meeting invite and/or
Notes associated with each meeting.
As a previous Sunsama user, my issue with the notes were:
Poor search/tagging/organisation. The binding of note to meeting was too tight.
No option to show links to Google Docs easily.

This would be super helpful if there's a way to keep the notes private. I'd love to be able to use this to help me prep for meetings ahead of time, with notes to myself about things to remember.

Events: Add Note-Taking Functionality Inside Calendar Events
It would be incredibly helpful to be able to write detailed notes directly inside a calendar event, just like we can do with tasks. I’m referring to a dedicated, full-screen note editor within the event view — not just the shared description field that everyone can see.

Follow-Up Tasks Creation After Calendar Events
I would love to have a feature where, after finishing a calendar event, I can create follow-up tasks linked directly to that event. This would make it easier to organize action items and boost productivity.

Thanks for sharing this. Meeting Assistant now covers part of this workflow: on desktop and mobile, open a recorded meeting’s Action items tab and use Create task / + to add a suggested action to your Inbox. This requires Meeting Assistant access and a recording. Private notes you type yourself and manually linked next steps for any calendar event remain separate needs, so we’re keeping this request open for consideration. Would the recorded-meeting workflow cover part of your use case?
