Create task: see the full task popup

When I click "Add New Task", I can't figure out how to get the full edit task window thing to appear without typing in the title, hitting enter, and then double clicking the task under "To-Dos". I know you can do the inline commands like "//" but I'd like to be able to, say, double click the "Add New Task" button to bring up the full task edit window.
