Flagged Outlook email to Akiflow
Import flagged emails from Outlook and unflag when the task is completed. This is the quickest way to prioritise emails across desktop, web, mobile apps. The existing Outlook integration takes too long.

Starring a Gmail message adds to Akiflow (a really quick and easy workflow). Flatting an Outlook message will add to MS ToDO which then adds to Akiflow but then reopening the email from Akiflow first takes you to Ms ToDO and then to the original message. That means opening up two windows and doubles the amount of time to handle each task (really inefficient).

James: Appreciate the detailed insight! Totally get how this could slow things down—we’ll keep this on our list to revisit.

yes, this is really something important. I would love to see the content of the email directly in Akiflow

I mean the Outlook Email integration. I would like the option to simply swipe (to flag) in my Outlook mobile app or flag in my Outlook web app to create a task in Akiflow. The workaround via MS ToDo does work but it requires me to first go to Ms ToDo and then click on another link to take me to the original email. I have used a zapier integration in the past but that does not subsequently unflag the original email when the task is completed.

James I also have flagged Outlook emails automatically sent to MS To Do, which are then auto added to the AkiFlow inbox. It would be nice like you said if marking the task Done in AkiFlow changes the email flag status in Outlook, to complete the loop.

Hi James, are you referring to this integration (via Ms ToDo) or the Outlook Email one? https://www.notion.so/akiflow/Outlook-Email-481534bc398c423e9f42d27c45d4f453?pvs=4#3f9d05fb809142f1964d6278acc348e7
