Focus Timer: Timer Automatically Adjusts Task Duration
It would be great if starting a timer on a task could automatically adjust the task’s time estimate based on how long the timer runs. This would make time tracking more accurate and reduce the need to manually update task durations.

Timer in Focus Mode
It would be great to have the Focus timer available to start in the full-screen Focus Mode so it keeps me on-task.

Thank you for this Nancy! When you have the Pomodoro timer turned on, the pop up should also be visible as a floating banner even when on focus mode. What do you think of this approach?

It's fine, but I still get distracted by my big Akiflow window with the other tasks I have to do, so I sometimes forget the timer is running for a specific task.

Focus Timer: Customizable Focus Timer for Different Time Slots
It would be great to have more flexibility in setting up the Focus Timer to match different work slot durations throughout the day. For example, I have admin slots that vary between 15, 30, and 60 minutes, while my deep work sessions are typically 90 minutes. A one-size focus timer setup doesn’t work well for these varying lengths.
It would be helpful to:
Attach a specific Focus Timer pattern to repeating work slots.
Optionally disable the "longer break" or set it to zero minutes to better align with pre-built gaps in the schedule.
This would ensure the timer better aligns with structured work periods without requiring visual or timing workarounds.

Timer for Tasks and Time Slots
It would be great if when in a task or a time slot, one could start the timer and relate it to that task or time slot.
So instead of just timing in terms of a focus slot, allow one to relate the timer to either a given task of a time slot (consisting of multiple tasks).

Focus Timer: Option to "Start Timer" Directly from Task
Enable/add a right-click option to "Start Timer" directly from any task would make it much easier and faster to begin focus sessions without having to search through the timer interface.

Hi, as a user I’m interested in having a timer for specific work blocks or tasks, so starting a timer that takes the task duration seems very appropriate.

Right now the timer as is, doesn’t add any added value that a regular pomodoro timer (apart from automatic insertion of the task name), and the experience feels disjointed.
