Make reminders persistent and hard to ignore on phone and desktop instead of regular Android notifications that get buried in the notification shade and are easily forgotten. The whole life is being moved into Akiflow, but the biggest problem is the reminders. The reminder should stay in the user's face until the task is manually marked as complete or snoozed, with:
Vibration and sound that keep going until I react
A notification (or even a full-screen alert) that I can't just swipe away or hide
The same behavior on desktop, not just on the phone
Everyone these days seems to have ADHD or some kind of attention issue; keeping track of hundreds of tasks a day is hard enough, and it is even harder when the app does not really remind that something has to be done.
TickTick is cited as a good example of how this should work, and it is the only app whose reminders actually work, which is why every new productivity app ends up connected to TickTick anyway.
