Akiflow MCP

Akiflow's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server lets you connect AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor directly to your Akiflow account. Once connected, your AI assistant can manage your tasks, view your schedule, and create calendar events on your behalf.

Akiflow MCP is currently in beta and rolling out gradually, so it is not yet available on every account. If you do not see it on Settings β†’ MCP yet, it will be available to everyone by end of the June.

What you can do with Akiflow MCP

Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant to:

  • View your schedule - "What does my day look like tomorrow?" or "Am I free Thursday afternoon?"

  • Create tasks - "Create a task to review the Q3 report, due Friday"

  • Plan your day - "Move my unplanned tasks to open slots on my calendar"

  • Check your inbox - "What tasks are in my inbox right now?"

  • Time slots - "Create a 90-minute time slot tomorrow at 9 for the report."

  • Reschedule and update - "Move my 3pm to tomorrow or Mark the report task as done"

  • Create calendar events - "Block 2 hours tomorrow morning for deep work"

  • Browse projects and priorities - "Show me my high-priority tasks" or "What's in my Roadmap project?"

  • Meeting transcripts - "Summarize my last meeting or What were the action items from my 10am call?". Requires Akiflow's Meeting Assistant.

Akiflow MCP gives your AI assistant visibility into all your connected calendars through a single connection.

Tips for getting the most out of Akiflow MCP

  • Use clear task titles. Your AI assistant relies on task titles to understand what each task is about. Descriptive titles lead to better results.

  • Start simple. Try "What's on my schedule today?" or "Create a task called 'Prepare slides for Monday'" before building complex workflows.

  • Build automated routines. Combine Akiflow MCP with other connected tools (Linear, Slack, Gmail) in your AI assistant to create morning briefs, weekly reviews, or daily planning sessions.

  • Task duration matters. If your tasks have durations set, your AI can schedule them more intelligently into available calendar slots.
