What can Aki do?

An overview of Aki's capabilities, including creating and editing tasks, events & time slots, as well as providing scheduling assistance and additional features.

Tasks & Slots

Create and edit tasks

Create tasks with Aki is quick and easy. Aki will confirm your request and log it in your calendar or task list.

Supported fields: title, date and time, duration, recurrence, description, deadline, priority, Projects and Tags.

Try: Aki, remind me to pick up the dry cleaning after work today.
Try: Build a weekly running schedule and remind me to stretch afterwards.

Create and edit time slots

Aki can create new time slots, assign Projects to a time slot, edit recurring time slots, and move existing time slots.

Plan tasks and time slots

If you need to reschedule a task or a recurring time slot containing recurring tasks, Aki can move them to a new date and time. Aki can also help move tasks in and out of time slots.

Notes about rescheduling time slots: If there are undone tasks, they will be moved with the time slot. If there are tasks completed in the time slot, the time slot will be left there with the done tasks, and a new one will be created with the undone tasks and moved to the new date & time.

Try: Aki, move Prepare presentation to tomorrow at 10 AM.
Try: Aki, move Pick up dry cleaning to when I am free next Monday.

Marking tasks as done

Mark tasks as done on the go!

Try: Aki, mark Call plumber as completed.

Delete tasks

You can only delete tasks that were created by Aki.

Tasks will be trashed and not permanently deleted. The trash is not accessible from Aki, but from the desktop or mobile apps.

Events

Create and edit events

Create an event in a second!

Supported fields: title, date and time (including all-day events) and guests!

Try: Aki, create an event when I’m free tomorrow to go grocery shopping!

Guests

Aki should ask for confirmation before creating an event that include a guest, showing you a preview of what’s about to create. Aki will also add a call link to an event with guest, following your Akiflow settings.

Aki can search contact availability (basically the meet-with feature)! When editing events you can also add or remove guests.

Contacts are searched from your contact list in Akiflow, but you can also specify email addresses of new contacts

Scheduling assistant

Check and edit your schedule

Keep track of your schedule with Aki, and move things around as you need! Aki can see your tasks, time slots and events and move tasks and time slots for you.

When checking your schedule, Aki will not show you any of your declined events (i.e. events which you’ve responded “no” to)

Check your Inbox

Aki helps you stay on top of your Inbox tasks. Check what you have on your plate.

Try: Aki, check my inbox.
Try: Aki, summarize my Inbox tasks.

Goals & Priorities

Aki can filter your tasks based on their goal or priority status.

Try: Aki, show me only my high-priority tasks for today.
Try: Aki, what are my goals on Friday?

Overdue Tasks

Aki supports overdue tasks, so you’ll never lose track of what’s pending!
