HR Professionals
For HR professionals managing recruitment pipelines, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance, Akiflow’s Folders, Projects, Sections, and Tags can help you streamline workflows and stay organized across multiple responsibilities.
Folders: High-Level Categories
Folders allow you to categorize tasks based on different aspects of your work, keeping everything neatly organized.
Suggested Folders:
Personal: Tasks unrelated to work for maintaining work-life balance
Hiring: Recruitment workflows and candidate pipelines
Employee Management: Onboarding, training, and employee records
Professional Development: Certifications and HR-related learning
Folders are expandable or collapsible giving you a streamlined view of your Akiflow sidebar.
Projects: Break Down Key Focus Areas
Use Projects to focus on specific areas of your professional and personal life. Projects make tasks actionable and trackable.
Suggested Projects:
Assign tasks to specific projects for clear segmentation. Projects can be color-coded and can have different emojis for visual organization.
Sections: Structure Your Workflows
Break projects into phases, categories, or stages using sections to make workflows more manageable.
Suggested Sections:
Sections can help declutter your task list, making it easier to focus on specific stages or categories within your Project. They are also useful for workflows like Kanban or when breaking down projects into steps.
Tags: Add Context Across Tasks
Tags add flexibility and allow you to categorize tasks across projects for quick filtering and prioritization.
Suggested Tags:
To Review: Tasks that need a final check or approval
Waiting For: Tasks pending input or action from others
Follow Up: Items requiring follow-up after a certain period
You can add multiple tags to a single task for cross-referencing and clarity (i.e. a tasked tagged both as Waiting For and Follow Up). You can also filter asks by tags to quickly find related items.
Best Practices
Integrate and automate where possible: Sync Akiflow with platforms like Notion to seamlessly pull in tasks and schedules and keep your workflow centralized in one place
Keep it simple: Use folders, projects, and sections to create structure but keep tags simple and consistent
Review regularly: Use daily and weekly Rituals to revisit folders, projects, and tags and ensure that you stay aligned with your priorities and deadlines
When planning your tasks, use Akiflow’s Task Deadline or Task priorities features on top of our suggestions above to ensure that you never miss follow-ups, stay organized and prioritize effectively.
